Children can get FREE swimming lessons in Baton Rouge.
According to the East Baton Rouge Parish parks and recreation system, it will be the first time BREC will not charge entrance fees at any of its 3 community pools, which open May 25, 2019.
The FREE initiative is made possible through the agency’s partnerships with the American Red Cross and Southeast Louisiana Aquatics.

Participating Chick-fil-A restaurants in Baton Rouge, Denham Springs, and Gonzales, Louisiana are offering a FREE 8-count order of nuggets to customers who create or log in to their Chick-fil-A One account from now until Apr. 30, 2019.
No, this is not an April Fools’ Day joke! The offer is 100% authentic and will be available at participating restaurants all month long, beginning today.

Personal injury law firm, Dudley DeBosier is partnering with Uber to offer FREE rides to the main parades in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and New Orleans, Louisiana on St. Patrick’s Day.
The campaign is part of Dudley DeBosier’s #DoRight4LA brand.

The FREE rides will be available Saturday, Mar. 16, 2019 for Baton Rouge’s Wearin’ of the Green parade and in New Orleans for the Irish Channel parade.
FREE rides will only be available to and from the designated parade routes.
The credit code for ride is capped at $25 (roundtrip) and must originate from within the city limits of either Baton Rouge or New Orleans.
