FREE access to state court records offered by Redmond branch of the Deschutes Public Library

Sharing is caring!

The Redmond branch of the Deschutes Public Library will soon be the first place outside of a courthouse building where Oregonians may access state court records for FREE.

Starting March 1, 2019, the branch located at 827 SW Deschutes Ave., Redmond, Oregon across from City Hall, will offer FREE public access to judicial information database of Oregon on all its computers.

Staff members will log library users into the Oregon Judicial Court Information Network so they may peruse filings in criminal and civil cases, and print copies for 5 cents per black and white page.

Users must either have a library card — which is FREE — or pay a $1 fee to access the internet. Documents are available for most cases filed after January 1, 2015.
