FREE public transportation service – Onslow County – Onslow United Transit System (OUTS) – COVID-19 pandemic [#FREETransport #OnslowCounty #OUTS COVID19]

A new, FREE public transportation service is being offered for Onslow County residents during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Onslow United Transit System (OUTS) will begin offering a fare-FREE service to eligible county residents on Monday, April 13, 2020.

The service will be available for specific essential needs activities during the pandemic, which will include work, the grocery store and any medical or critical destinations allowed during the stay at home order.

The service will be available Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and those interested in using the service are asked to call before 10:30 a.m. the day before they will need transportation to make the request.
