The Internal Revenue Service, USA will provide a FREE online, web-based information session in two languages on Thursday, March 28, 2019, to help people understand how to do a ‘Paycheck Checkup.’

Doing a Paycheck Checkup means checking tax withholding using the IRS Withholding Calculator and making any necessary adjustments to avoid having too little or too much tax withheld from paychecks.

The Withholding Calculator is an accurate, simple way for most taxpayers to determine their correct withholding amount. The tool allows taxpayers to enter their expected 2019 income, deductions, adjustments and credits – including the Child Tax Credit.

The two 60-minute webinars, one in English and one in Spanish, include a special Q&A session. The sessions cover the basics of using the online IRS Withholding Calculator and detail the different situations that may require taxpayers to adjust their withholding, including those who:

Had a large tax refund or tax bill for 2018 when they filed their tax return this year.
Adjusted their tax withholding in the middle or later part of 2018.
Had a major life change this year.
Are a two-income family.
Have two or more jobs at the same time or only work part of the year.
Claim credits like the Child Tax Credit.
Have dependents age 17 or older.
Itemized deductions in the past.
Have high income or a complex tax return.
Have a large tax refund or tax bill for 2018.

Register to attend either language version of this webinar on March 28; the Spanish webinar starts at 11 a.m. Eastern, and the English webinar begins at 2 p.m. Eastern.

It is recommended attendees log in 10 minutes prior to the start time.

Closed captioning will be available.

Virgin Holidays has announced a competition giving any woman named Lucy or Lucia a chance to win a FREE flight to the Caribbean island of St. Lucia.

In honor of International Women’s Day on March 8, 2019 the company is celebrating the only country to be named after a woman by offering four pairs of round-trip economy class Virgin Atlantic flights from London Gatwick to St. Lucia to four women with the same name.

Your name on your passport must be Lucy or Lucia in order to qualify.

Between March 7 and 11, 2019, the Lucys of the U.K. (or outside the U.K., if you are willing to get yourself to London Gatwick) can enter to win on the Virgin Holidays website.

Four winners will be chosen at random.

Tŷ Mawr, located just outside Wrexham is a popular park, but what makes it exceptionally fun is the small farm area.

There are lots of animals you can meet at such as donkeys, pigs, rabbits and goats. You can even feed the free range chickens and ducks or admire Carlos and Pedro the Llamas, who guard the sheep from foxes.

Or take a stroll to the river and see if you can spot a salmon jumping.

The Park is open every day of the year and the animals can be seen during the day, in the special animal houses or in the fields.

Car parking is FREE and the park has plenty of short walks on paths suitable for pushchairs which take you down and along the river, or longer walks towards the monumental Pontcysyllte aqueduct.

The walks at Tŷ Mawr and some other parks have been ‘calorie mapped’ so that you can see how many calories you will burn on the walks. This information is on the map as you enter the park or available to download.
