Boost your computer skills with FREE programs at the Daytona Beach Regional Library, 105 E. Magnolia Ave., Daytona Beach, Florida.

You are requested to register.

Library staff will conduct the following programs in July 2019:

Find good reads:
10 a.m. Wednesday, July 10.
Learn how to use the Surfcat, Books & Authors, and Novelist Plus databases to search for your favorite genres, topics and authors.

Microsoft Word 2016:
10 a.m. Friday, July 19.
Learn how to correct errors and make changes to documents.

Androids for beginners:
10 a.m. Thursday, July 25.
Pick up some tips on keeping your android phone or tablet updated, getting new apps, and accessing the library’s e-books and movies.

Basic computers:
10 a.m. Wednesday, July 31.
This beginners class will cover such topics as desktop vs. laptop and hardware vs. software.

Library to offer FREE computer classes:
Daytona Times

A FREE two-day clinic will offer dental, vision and medical services in Walla Walla, Washington State.

Presented by Love Heals FREE Clinic, the event is Thursday, April 18 and Friday, April 19, 2019 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Walla Walla County Fairgrounds, 363 Orchard St., Walla Walla.

No appointments will be scheduled. You will be cared for on a first-come, first-served basis.

Medical professionals will be on hand to provide eye examinations with prescription and FREE glasses; dental fillings, cleanings and extractions; and general medical screenings, including diabetes, cholesterol, thyroid, dermatology, arthritis, mental health and women’s health screening and referrals (women can register for a mammogram screening). Also, massage therapy, chiropractic care, lifestyle counseling, and community resources will be offered.

New Ventures Maine will offer My Next Career Move, a FREE, five-week class to help people prepare for a new career path, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursdays, April 18 through May 16, 2019 at NVME Office, 108 Perham St. Suite #2, Farmington, Maine.

In this class, they will review your skills, interests, personality, and experiences and then relate to occupations.

You can identify educational opportunities, research the local job market, and strengthen your resume for a targeted job search.

The program is open to people of all ages and incomes.

Whether you are unemployed, underemployed, or simply considering a career change, this class can help you discover options that fit.
